About "Pines" (Single bedroom) Pines is situated in Cleeve Park (residential) near Blue Anchor. Having no through roads makes this very peaceful and in its sylvan setting most attractive backing onto farmland with views of the Brendon Hills. Wildlife abounds and includes badgers which have a run at the rear of the garden. The popular West Somerset Steam Railway runs to the rear of the garden about 500 yards distance and can be glimpsed as the trains work hard uphill from Blue Anchor to nearby Washford. Recently redecorated and refurnished the interior is both bright and welcoming. The kitchen is well appointed having fridge freezer, washer dryer, microwave, toaster and table/stools. Bathroom with easy to operate shower. There is TV, Radio, DVD. Good sized comfortable bedroom (formerly 2) with TV ,clock radio and plenty of storage. There are large French doors to patio and lawn, also having winding blinds (you will be glad of these in Summer). A garden bench is provided as are picnic table and chairs , ideal for use on the elevated decking area. Beach chairs and parasol may be used for your days out. Off road parking for one vehicle. Nearby Facilities Home Farm on the promenade provides breakfasts and teas, adjacent is a small shop for provisions and news also the Smugglers Inn. A little father along is the excellent and popular Driftwood Cafe. Nearer still is the Blue Anchor Inn. All these amenities are within 1/2 - 3/4 mile with views across the Bristol Channel. During the Summer months witness the spectacular sunsets, from the Blue Anchor Inn garden perhaps ? Attractions. Dunster Castle and attractive Yarn market is just 4 miles with Minehead seafront and harbour another few mins away. In the summer open air buses go to beautiful Lynton & Lynmouth (bus passes accepted) In the opposite direction from the Park is the bustling harbour town of Watchet with its cafes, Bistros and Steam Railway Station. Many other houses gardens tea rooms and inns are within easy reach. Coastal walking, Quantocks, Brendons & Exmoor. Full details and maps will be available in the chalet. Whats included ?
